Where to Pick Pumpkins on the Isle of Wight

The island has several places that offer pumpkin picking and activities in the autumn months. Here are three of our top spots to explore:

Harrowing Horrors At Wild Oak Farm –

  • Returning this year with a whole week of spooky fun! Expect pumpkin picking and carving, plus plenty of family-friendly activities like scavenger hunts and ghostly games. Entry is free, but tickets are required if you’d like to pick your own pumpkin (£7.50 per ticket, including one medium pumpkin).

Westover Farm Pumpkin Patch –

  • Set in 10 acres of stunning countryside, this patch offers over 20 varieties of pumpkins, squashes and gourds. With wheelbarrows to hand, scarecrows to spot, and plenty of photo opportunities, it’s a fun-filled autumn day out for all ages. No booking required – free entry (Booking only required for Friday mornings).

The Pumpkin Pick ‘n’ Mix at Tapnell Farm Park –

  •  Find your perfect pumpkin in their gourd-geous shop! From tiny, tall, to monster-sized pumpkins, there’s something for everyone. First come, first served, daily from 11am – 3pm, 18th–31st October.
  • Visit the pumpkin carving and decorating station, where all the tools you need are provided. Let your imagination run wild and bring your pumpkin creations to life!
